It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eric L. Heikes of Petersburg, Illinois, who passed away on February 26, 2024, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Leon Heikes and Carolyn Heikes; his wife Sarah Heikes; his children, Katherine Heikes and William Heikes; his pets, Sassy, Oreo and Timon; and his siblings, Scott Heikes and Melinda Heikes-Seiler.
