She was predeceased by: her parents, Abel Knudtson and Florence Knudtson (Saylor); her husband Edward Pickett; her granddaughter Heather; and her siblings, Mildred Zaborac, Charles Knudtson, Ann Cooper and Florence Baines.
She is survived by: her children, Tom Pickett (Gigi) of Mentone, Dan Pickett of St. Louis, Missouri and Susie Evers (Dave) of Petersburg, IL; and her grandchildren, Alycia Cortopassi (Lou) of Dana Point, CA, Carter Pickett (Cathy Jo) of Banora Point, Leslie Gaughran (Mike) of Vero Beach, FL and Chad Evers (Liz) of Naperville, IL. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kemmerer Village, 941 N. 2500 East Road, Assumption, IL 62510 and will also be received by Airsman & Calvert Funeral Homes, Virden who is honored to be caring for Doris' family.
