It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Connie Jean Barbee (Petersburg, Illinois), who passed away on August 31, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Edward Barbee; her parent Esther Doyen; her daughter Susan Carlson (Rick); her grandson Michael Burke (Amy); her great grandchildren, Jack, Allie and Henry; her daughter Shelly Flickinger (Dave); her grandchild Ember; her cousins, Donna Hitchcock and Bonnie Messett; and her parent Connie.
In lieu of flowers, Connie requested donations be made to the Menard County Animal Control, 19376 Sunny Acres Rd, Petersburg, Illinois 62675.
