We are sad to announce that on July 16, 2024, at the age of 89, Allan Freeland of Petersburg, Illinois, born in Washington, District of Columbia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Freeland and Florence Freeland; and his wife Mary Jane Nickel. He is survived by: his children, Deborah Jean Seldner (Gary) of Camas, WA, Allan Phillip Freeland (Vickie) of Mason City, IL, Margaret Sue Freeland of Petersburg, IL and Steven Curtis Freeland of Petersburg, IL; his grandchildren, Bryon (Ashley) and Keri; his great grandchildren, Bryce, Hayden, Bre, Krue, Kyli and Rylan; his sister Edith Bleything; and his close friend Elmore Bruso.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Menard County Food Bank.
