It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Xavier Mykal Matney (Peru, Illinois), born in Ottawa, Illinois, who passed away on December 4, 2022, at the age of 13, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Christopher Matney (Valerie Carne) and Danielle Matney (Valle); his siblings, Zakary, Brandi, Calvin, Lillian, Kaelynn and Logan; his grandparents, Carl Matney (Cat), Annette Klepk (Mark), Brian Valle (Andrea) and Valerie Nagy; and his close friend Jonathan Reimann. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
