He is survived by: his mother Elsie Burkart of Peru; his sisters, Regina Gualandi (Tom) of Utica and Laura Burkart of Sugar Grove; and also, Gerald Burkart (Sandy) of Ottawa, Bill Burkart, Ron Burkart and Leroy T. Burkart (Deidre) of Peru. He is also survived by many nieces, great nieces, nephews.
