We are sad to announce that on October 2, 2021, at the age of 88, Shirley A. Benassi of Peru, Illinois, born in Toluca, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Kutchma and Rose Kutchma (Chiola); her husband Eugene W. Benassi; and her siblings, Lois Barker and Harold Kutchma.
She is survived by: her children, Chris Simpson of Peru and Dean Benassi (Jo-Ann) of LaSalle; her grandchildren, Heather Waldron (Chad) of Mendota, Ryne Benassi (Mallory Boehm) of LaSalle, Brandon Simpson of Peru and Derek Simpson of Joliet; her great grandchildren, Parker, Elyse Waldron and Gage Ploch; and her sister Pat Petri of Lostant.
