It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert W. Mathey Sr. of Peru, Illinois, who passed away on August 13, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex F. Mathey and Mary Mathey (Diddle); his wife Marge; and his brothers, Alex Mathey Jr. and Richard Mathey.
He is survived by: his children, Sandra Fusinetti (James) of Louisville, KY and Robert W. Mathey Jr. (Monica) of Spring Valley; and his sister Rosemary Ellis of Palatine. He is also survived by three grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
