Robert L. Stirratt Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert L. Stirratt of Peru, Illinois, who passed away on January 13, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert L. Stirratt to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Stirratt and Harriet Stirratt (Leynaud); his wife Darlene Kotecki; and his siblings, Lorraine Bartolucci, Margaret Arnold, Betty Nestler and James Stirratt.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kelli Currier (Robert) of Oglesby and Bobbi VanSchaick (CJ) of Spring Valley; his grandchildren, Eric VanSchaick (Patricia), Jason VanSchaick (Kasey), Corey VanSchiack (Courtney), Kevin Currier (Samantha) and Courtney Currier (Michael Muro); and his sister Jeanette Urban of Peru. He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Valentines Catholic Church (1109 Pulaski St, Peru, IL 61354). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to the Autism Foundation or Lighted Way.
