With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard A. Mathey of Peru, Illinois, born in Oglesby, Illinois, who passed away on November 12, 2020 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard A. Mathey to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex F. Mathey and Mary Mathey (Diddle); his grandson Andrew Boucher; and his brother Alex Mathey, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Linda Washkowiak (Dennis) of Granville, Rich Mathey (Debbie) of Oglesby and Rose Rainey (Will) of Columbia, TN; and his siblings, Rosemary Ellis of Palatine and Robert Mathey of Peru. He is also survived by six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
