He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer J. Christison and Mary Irene Christison (Glossop); his siblings, Marjorie Verdon (Joe), Elmer Christison and Wayne Christison (Madge); his brother-in-law Russ Gardner; and his nephew Brett Gardner.
He is survived by: his wife Liz; his children, Lisa Wesender (Carl) of Batavia, John Christison (Ruth) of West Burlington, IA and Denise Christison (Brian Gibson) of Dallas, TX; his grandchildren, Maddie Christison, Jack Christison and Kaitlyn Wesender; and his sister Kathryn Gardner of Springfield.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mueller Funeral Home - Peru (909 Pike St, Peru, IL 61354). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Ottawa Avenue Cemetery (1601 Ottawa Ave, Ottawa, IL 61350).
