He was loved and cherished by many people including: his brother Marion Derango; his children, Drs and Kathy Kulig (Matthew) of Millstadt, IL; his grandchildren, Madeline, Caroline Derango, Melanie, Kelly and Sean Kulig; and his brother Marius Derango (Sharon) of Peru, IL.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the Shriner's Hospital for Children.
