He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester "Blurkie" Novak and Lorraine Novak (Bregar). He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Novak of Peru; his daughters, Jennifer Novak of Chicago and Michelle Novak of Peru; his sisters, Cindy Novak of Granville and Julie Monroe (Novak) of Scottsdale; and his grandson Rylynd Rynkewicz of Peru.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the donor's choice.
