He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle Roberts and Irene Roberts (Weber); his siblings, Ruby Geiger, Betty Peek, Dolores Hefzner and Lyle Roberts; and his half-brother George Weber.
He is survived by: his children, Michael L. Roberts (Sara Swiskoski) of Mark, Jon Roberts (Eva) of Kenwish, WA, Rose Roberts of Austin, TX, April Roberts (David Alleman) of Peru and Rachael Roberts (Frank Heath) of Seneca; his grandchildren, Skyler Casey, Aeris Alleman, Rose Whitecotton and Layla Heath; and his sisters, Ruth Catalanello (Jim) of LaSalle and Norma Roberts of Ottawa. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
