He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Carter and Marlene Carter (Kasza). He is survived by: his wife Sue Ann Scoma; his children, Hannah Scoma of LaSalle, Sarah Scoma of LaSalle, Drew Carter (Crystal) of Mendota, Joshuah Carter and Leah Carter; and his siblings, Jennifer Dudek (Michael) of Granville, Jacki Martin (Bill) of Bloomington and Mark Carter of Streator. He is also survived by three nieces and four nephews.
