It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Hensler (Peru, Illinois), born in Spring Valley, Illinois, who passed away on April 2, 2018, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Herman Hensler. She is survived by: her children, Mary Pagoria of Edmond, OK, Sue Freschi (Rich) of LaSalle, Ruth Weiden (Paul) of Peru, Patti Hensler of Peru, Jeanine Sonnenberg (Jeff) of Peru and Steve Hensler (Lori) of Elgin; her grandchildren, Courtney Weiden, Luke Weiden, Rick Freschi, Claire Miller, Jacob Sonnenberg, Jonathon Sonnenberg, Jaclyn Sonneneberg, Zachary Hensler and Owen Hensler; her great grandchildren, Hannah Freschi, Jayce Weiden and Nora Miller; her sister Grace Credi of Peru; her grandchild Jaclyn Sonnenberg; and also Paul Church.
Memorial donations may be directed to St. Joseph's Church, Peru or St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.
