In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Ludwig leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Ludwig may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ludwig Karun and Ceil Karun (Goletz); and his brother Ron Karun. He is survived by: his wife Colleen Wenzel of Peru; his sons, Jason Karun (Emilie) of Bloomington and Joel Karun (Jenna) of Oglesby; and his grandchildren, Charlie, Sam, Henry, Vivienne and Jack.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hurst Funeral Home (650 5th St, La Salle, IL 61301).
