He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lester R. Phillips and Wanda J. Phillips (Isaac); his wife Shirley Wingfield of LaSalle; his daughters, Susan Selser of LaSalle and Laura Redd of Rockford; his grandchildren, Michael Terry of LaSalle, Nashea Ridgeway, Thomas Putman of Peru, Josh Phillips of Peru and Jacob Stoner of LaSalle; his siblings, Carol Hargis of St. Louis, MO, Linda Neighbors of Mt. Vernon and Gary Phillips of Rockford; and his granddaughter Nicole Borostowski. He was also cherished by eight nieces and five nephews.
