Lois Ruth Guthrie Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lois Ruth Guthrie (Peru, Illinois), who passed away on October 17, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Gisler and Ruth Gisler (Weber); her husband Robert Guthrie of Matthew's Lutheran Church; and her siblings, Carol Woodshank, Fonda "Billie" McCann, Norman, Delwin "Dick" and Roy "Bud" Gisler.
She is survived by: her son Mark Guthrie (Dawn) of La Crescent, MN; her granddaughters, Allison Hemker (Ryan) and Anne Guthrie; her great grandchildren, Tatum and Noah; and her sister-in-law Sally Gerdes (Ron). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to St. John's Lutheran Church, Peru.
