Lillian E. Ajster Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lillian E. Ajster of Peru, Illinois, who passed away on November 4, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Pantenburg and Mable Pantenburg (Funfsinn); her husband Anton Frank Ajster; her son Thomas; and her siblings, Rita Ward, Florence Ladzinski, Lawrence, Ralph Pantenburg and Jerome Kobold.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Ajster (Kim) of Peru, Donna Marcacci (Jon) of Dunlap, Ken J. Ajster of Palm Desert, CA and JoAnn Armstrong (Craig) of Burlington, WI; her grandchildren, Christopher Armstrong, Taylar Goff, Kelly Picco, Nicholas Ajster, Jennifer Roach, Scott Marcacci, Jaclyn Marcacci and Lyndsey Ajster; and her sister Phyllis DeVecchio (Richard) of Placentia, CA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, those attending services are kindly asked to wear face covering and follow social distancing guidelines.
Lillian's family is grateful to the wonderful women of Home Instead who cared for her in her early years of Alzheimer's disease and the caring staff at Liberty Village, Peru. In lieu of flowers, the Ajster family would appreciate memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association or St. Joseph's Church, Peru.
