It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leigh Ann Janko of Peru, Illinois, born in Spring Valley, Illinois, who passed away on November 8, 2020, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joseph Haywood and Gloria Haywood (Rodriguez); her husband Mark Janko; her children, Mathew Janko, Amy Gahan (Jason) and Laura Santillanes (Andy); her grandchildren, Grace, Liv, Anna Gahan, Remy, Leo, Ruby Santillanes and Asher Janko; her sister Susan DeBernardi; her siblings-in-law, Michael Janko, Gary Janko, William Wilke, Lori Janko-Wilke, Patricia Janko and Susan Janko; and her nieces and nephews, Michelle Meade, Kristen Ritchey, Katie Whitfield, Jennifer Andriano, Michael DeBernardi, Julie Turner, Maria Osmanski, Michael Janko, Mason Wilke and Emma Wilke.

I watched your family grow and flourish and when I heard the shocking news I felt your pain in my gut. Leigh Ann was a warrior for your family but at the same time kind and patient and many other awesome things.
