It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Burkart (Peru, Illinois), born in La Salle, Illinois, who passed away on February 16, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Koch and Jean Koch (Chioni); her son Gregory; and her brother Bill Koch. She is survived by: her husband Ralph A. Burkart of Peru; her sons, Brad Burkart (Mary Beth) of Peru and Randy Burkart (Brenda) of Peru; her grandchildren, Andrea, Amanda, Britney Burkart and Brett Burkart; her great grandchild Addison Jaegle; and her grandson Steve Koch.
