He was predeceased by: his mother Grace W. Hamilton; and his wife Shirley E. Hamilton. He is survived by: his son Craig D.; his daughter-in-law Debbie G. Hamilton of Fishers; his grandchildren, Abigail, Jacob, Lucas, Grace, Noah and Claire; and his brothers, George James (Wendy Hamilton), Harry Geoffrey "Jeff" (Charlotte Hamilton) and Joel Brian (Charla Hamilton).
