He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Koehler and Gladys Koehler (Cox); his daughter Heidi; his brother Jay Hansen; and his sister-in-law Hope Casford.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Casford of Peru; his sons, Patrick Koehler (Bethany) of Kasson, MN and Shawn Koehler (Amy) of Peru; his grandchildren, Carlee, Mira, Finn, Sadie, Lila and Luke; his nieces, Cindy and Jill; his brother-in-law George Casford (Lisa) of Granville; and his pet Sophie.
