It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Evanson (Peru, Illinois), born in Waukon, Iowa, who passed away on October 4, 2021, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Evanson and Doris Evanson (Dundee). He is survived by: his wife LaVonne Plagman; his children, Adam Evanson (Jill Reints) of La Salle, Brandon Evanson (Sophia Engelmann) of Tulsa, OK, Caitlin Evanson-Boyd (Alexander) of Charlotte, NC and Ty Evanson (Deena Koetz) of Peru; his granddaughters, Sicily and Miriam; and his siblings, Roger Evanson of Coggon, IA, Charlene Wolters (John) of Dubuque, IA, Ron Evanson (Deb) of Monona, IA, Dorothy Ann Patterson, Connie Gunderson (Bob) of Monona, IA, Randy Evanson (Sandy) of Monona, IA and Terry Evanson of Ryan, IA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
