With solemn reverence, we commemorate Jeoffry L. Hayden of Peru, Illinois, whose life came to an end on February 6, 2025 at the age of 72, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Jack" Hayden and Mary Louise "Chickie" Hayden (Orlandini); his sister Lisa Crossman; and his nephew Timothy Duncan. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Schmoeger; his children, Jeoffry Hayden (Rachel) of Geneva and Julie Arkins (Eric) of Peru; his grandchildren, Natalie, Allison Hayden, Hayden, Maggie and James Arkins; his sisters, Karen Duncan (John) of La Salle, Becky Kalman (Dale) of La Salle and Mary Claire Klinefelter (Mark) of La Salle; his brother-in-law Bill Crossman of La Salle; and his nephews, Nick Duncan, John Duncan, Chris Duncan, Dale Kalman, Luke Kalman, Kyle Klinefelter, Matt Klinefelter, Cote Klinefelter, Adam Sadnick, Austin Sadnick and Jared Sadnick. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Church (725 4th St, La Salle, IL 61301). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Bede Academy.
