He was predeceased by: his parent George "Jim". He is survived by: his parent Christine Koehler (Banko); his children, Mary Koehler of Montgomery, Robert Koehler of LaSalle, Lynn Bernabei of Peru, Jim Koehler (Gada) of Pennsylvania and Barbara Koehler Mica (Roman) of Colorado; his grandchildren, Marc Davison (Shelly), Michael Bernabei (Katie), Marianne Pyszka (Bill), Erica McGraw (Eli), Christopher Koehler, Raquel Uyeda (Doug), Kurt Koehler and Tomas Mica; his great grandchildren, Jessica Davison, Kyle Davison, William, Vivianne, Olivia Pyszka, Cooper Bernabei and Chloe Bernabei; his brothers, Kent Koehler (Linda) of Peru and Richard "Speck" Koehler (Betty) of New Mexico; his sister-in-law Helen Koehler of Peru; his wife Ann; his son Thom Koehler; and his brother Merle Koehler.

He is also survived by eight grandchildren, Marc (Shelly) Davison, Michael (Katie) Bernabei, Marianne (Bill) Pyszka, Erica (Eli) McGraw, Christopher Koehler, Raquel (Doug) Uyeda, Kurt Koehler and Tomas Mica; seven great-grandchildren, Jessica and Kyle Davison, William, Vivianne and Olivia Pyszka and Cooper and Chloe Bernabei; his brothers, Kent (Linda) Koehler of Peru and Richard "Speck" (Betty) Koehler of New Mexico and one sister-in-law, Helen Koehler of Peru.He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann; one son, Thom Koehler (Ms. Dale Arrington Koehler); his parents and one brother, Merle Koehler.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to a conservation cause would have been appreciated by Jim.
