She was predeceased by: her parents, William Sale and Mary Sale (Meyer); and her siblings, Walter, Raymond Sale, Pauline Callahan and Mary Lehn.
She is survived by: her husband William C. Guenther of Peru; her children, Dr. William Guenther (Jane Marie) of Kitty Hawk, Jane Heun (Tom) of Jefferson, Iowa and Julie Guenther (Mitch Lieber) of Chicago; her grandchildren, Sean Guenther, Adam Heun (Alicia), Daniel Heun (Becca Brei), Anne Frankl (Joe), Chad, Elizabeth Harmon (Grant) and Hana Lieber; and her great grandchild Hallie Jane Frankl. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Peru.
