We are sad to announce that on November 6, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Helen Carlson of Peru, Illinois, born in Varna, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Peterson and Ada Peterson (Flesburg); her son John Carlson; her siblings, Carl Peterson, Viola Stiles, Dorothy Spear and Virginia Holz; and her granddaughter Angela Carlson.

She is survived by: her husband Carl "Kelly" J. Carlson; her children, Donald Carlson (Patty) of Villages, FL, Philip Carlson (Sherrie) of Granville and Christine Meinhold (Vaun) of Streator; her daughter-in-law Kalynn Carlson of Aurora; and her grandchildren, Dean Carlson, Dawn Williams, Wendy Harris, Melanie Hundley, Krista Carlson, Tyson Meinhold, Lance Meinhold, Brian Carlson, Tim Carlson and Brett Carlson. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
