He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Smunt and Helen Smunt (Socol); and his wife Helen "Jean" Baca. He is survived by: his daughters, Dawn Bubelis (Eric) of Denver, CO, Michelle Smunt of Oak Brook and Tammy Smunt of Denver, CO; and his sister Helen "Babe" Stransky of Lombard. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, memorial services and a celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
