He was predeceased by: his parents, Minor Lewis and Paralee Lewis (Burson); his wife Joyce "Annette" Russell; his son Buddy; and his sisters, Ima Sue Kolodge and Connie Sawyer.
He is survived by: his sons, Marcus Lewis Sr. (Kathy) of Utica and Matthew Lewis of Peru; and his sisters, Beth Williams (Bradley) of Little Rock, AR and Billie Wooten of Little Rock, AR. He is also survived by six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Mueller Funeral Home - Peru (909 Pike St, Peru, IL 61354). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
