With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donna Jane Kalita of Peru, Illinois, born in Ottawa, Illinois, who passed away on August 30, 2022 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Jane Goetsch (Veith). She is survived by: her father Donald Goetsch of Ottawa; her husband James Kalita; her children, Krista Johnson (Ross) of Ramsey, MN, Michael Kalita (Brittany) of Oglesby, David Kalita (Nyvia) of Abilene, KS and Nathan Kalita (Ashley) of Ramsey, MN; her grandchildren, Justus, Easton Johnson, Paige, MacKenzie, Claire Kalita, Natalie, Logan, Hayley, Aurelia, Charlotte Kalita, Judah, Elliott and Annabelle Kalita; and her siblings, Diana Goetsch of Ottawa, Dwayne Goetsch (Missy) of Ottawa and Sara Goetsch of Naplate. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
