He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Johnson and Anna Johnson (Passamani); his wife Ruth Maki; his brothers, Leonard and Bernard; and his son-in-law Stephen Summerville.
He is survived by: his daughters, Donelle Johnson of Milwaukee, Diane Peterson (Charles) of Shelby Township, Dorie Johnson of Tilton and Debby Phelps (Steven) of Peru, Illinois.; and his granddaughter Annaliese Peterson of Saint Clair Shores, Michigan..
