With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darlene Marie Volk (Peru, Illinois), who passed away on January 19, 2020 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ankiewicz and Nellie Ankiewicz (Mini); and her brothers, Robert "Bob" Ankiewicz and Ron Ankiewicz. She is survived by: her husband Robert Lee Volk; her children, Chris Volk of Peru, Andrea Znaniecki of Peru, Tim Volk (Kathy) of Cleves, OH and Dianna Schroeder (Andy) of Freeport; her sister Mary Hiester (Larry) of Tonica; her siblings-in-law, Joanne Fleming of Utica, Lois Bistolfo (Pete) of Plainfield, Kathy Ankiewicz of Peru, Bonnie Ankiewicz of Las Vegas, NV, Don Volk (Sandy) of Anderson, IN, Nick Volk (Judy) of Washington, IL, Tom Volk of Chicago and Ed Volk (Karen) of Loveland, OH; and her nephews, Pat DeGraeve, John Bistolfo, Chuck Ball, Nick Volk, Rob Ankiewicz and John Hiester. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
