It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claire Dutkiewicz of Peru, Illinois, born in Stiring Wendel, Lorraine, who passed away on March 1, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Francois Morela and Juliana Morela (Agdic); her husband Ted; and her siblings, Aloyse Morela and Rose Heidel.
She is survived by: her children, Alex Dutkiewicz (Karen) of LaSalle and Marie Teresa Fike of LaSalle; her grandson Anthony "A. J."; her great grandchildren, Kylie Fike, Lily, Emma, Dash Fike, Milena, Jameson Meeker, Nathan, Kallum Torri, Zach, Lainey and Dylan Wight; and her brother Alex Morela. She is also survived by her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
