He is survived by: his wife Lois of Peru; his children, Thomas A. Smith (Tina) of La Salle, Timothy R. Smith (Andrea) of Bend, Oregon, Paula J. Castelli (John) of Ottawa and Linda S. Terando of Morris; his grandchildren, Amanda Overton (Brian), Matthew Castelli, Samuel Castelli (Mandy) and James Castelli; his great grandchildren, Kyle Overton and Zoey Overton; and his sister Carol Bogatitis of Spring Valley.
