He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolpho Orio and Catherine Orio (Valentino); and his sisters, Gloria George and Nadine Holdenrid. He is survived by: his wife Johanna Bernard; and his caregivers, Pat and Paul Kenny. He is also survived by nieces; nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mueller-Pagani Funeral Home (609 8th St, La Salle, IL 61301). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Troy Grove Cemetery.
