He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Edwin and Mary Florine Olson (Bergman); and his brother John. He is survived by: his wife Glenna Fay Miles of Beardstown; his children, Michele Fay of Perry and Michael Edwin of Clayton; his daughter-in-law Roxanne; his son Reed; his grandchild Morgan; and his sister Elgin Dee Krugler of Wisconsin.
