She was predeceased by: her parents, Hiram Dalton and Edith Dalton (Swanson); her husband Edwin "Penny" Conkling; her siblings, Virginia, Gerald, Janice and Pat; and her children-in-law, Susan Conkling and Michael Laney.
She is survived by: her children, Penny Stocking (Greg), Tim Conkling (Seattle) and Phillip Conkling (Cammie); her grandchildren, Aaron Laney, Benjamen Schmitt (Katie Nelson), Brandon Schmitt (Becca Denney) and Thomas Conkling (Sarah); her great grandchildren, Mayla and Adalyn Schmitt; and her sister Dorothy Fahlberg.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorials and donations be directed to Friends of Strays.
