It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Wayne Straus (Perry, Illinois), who passed away on March 31, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Straus and Mildred Gerard Straus; his son Steve Straus; and his grandchildren, Jermy Straus and Corrine Straus.
He is survived by: his spouse Kay Lightle; his children, Terri White (Tom) of Grenada, MS, Mike Straus of Mt. Sterling and Dana Glover (Danny) of Quincy; his brother Roger Straus (Sharon) of Philadelphia, MO.; and his close friend Kay Straus of Quincy. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren.
