We are sad to announce that on May 17, 2024, at the age of 90, Thomas J. McCrary of Percy, Illinois, born in Steeleville, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Thomas leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas S. McCrary and Thakla L. Boyer McCrary; his siblings, Norma and Valley; and his half-brother Ralph Schaeffer.

He is survived by: his son Neil McCrary (Julie) of San Antonio, TX; and his friend Edna McDaniels of Steeleville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to the American Diabetes Association.
