She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Hornbostel and Alma Hornbostel (Oetking). She is survived by: her husband Earl Ernsting of Percy, IL; her children, Tom Ernsting (Tammy) of Campbell Hill, IL, Nancy Hamilton (Dike) of Steeleville, IL and Dale Ernsting (Tonya Newby) of Steeleville, IL; and her grandchildren, Crystal, Doug, Rusty, Keith, Dakota and Nick. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be given to Peace Lutheran Church and can be mailed in c/o Wilson's Funeral Home, PO Box 217, Steeleville, IL 62288.
