With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roxie Hewerdine of Percy, Illinois, born in Murphysboro, Illinois, who passed away on February 2, 2021 at the age of 73. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Roxie Hewerdine to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Wedemeyer and Mathilda Wedemeyer (Haberman); and her son Adrina Smith. She is survived by: her sons, Aaron Smith of Percy, IL and Brian Hewerdine of Knoxville, TN; and her siblings, Ray Wedemeyer of Steeleville, IL, Harvey Wedemeyer of Chester, IL, Mardell Krull of Sparta, IL, Fern Meyerhoff of Percy, IL and Violet Wettig of Percy, IL.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren.
Due to executive order, face masks must be worn, and social guidelines must be followed.
