He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Ashby and Lila L. Ashby (Fisk); his grandson Preston Levi; and his brothers, Jerry L. Ashby and Danny R. Ashby.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Ashby of Percy, IL; his children, Mandy Risinger of Ava, IL and Bradon Ashby (Christopher Chaney) of Carbondale, IL; and his brother Jack Ashby (Gail) of Perryville, MO. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
