He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah King and Martha Bowles King. He is survived by: his wife Erlene King of Percy; his children, Rusty King (Susan) of Waterloo, IL and Lisa VanSant (Bill) of Sparta; and his grandchildren, Jessi Rucks (Jarrod), Erika Patel (Rajan), Lauren Van Sant and Kellie Crawford (Dakota).

Memorials may be given to Steeleville Baptist Church Building Fund or Hospice of Southern Illinois.
