She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Rathert and Pauline Rathert (Wedemeyer); her husband Robert W. Lodge; her great grandchild Nicholas Smith; her sister LouAnn Castens; and her son-in-law Jerry M. Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Smith of Pinckneyville, IL, Buffie Davis (Donnie) of Percy, IL and Darl Lodge (Linda) of Ava, IL; her grandchildren, Codi Davis, Colby Davis, Jordan, Justin Meyerhoff, Hunter, Jessica Lodge, Jerry Smith (Heather), Annette Stevens (Mark), Joshua Smith (Tammy), Amanda Ryser (Jeff) and James Smith (Jamie); her great grandchildren, Walker D. Meyerhoff, Jedsen Lodge, Kambri Jones (Willy), Koal Smith, Sierra Kuntz, Zerek Kuntz, Zachary Smith, Maranda Ryser (Spencer), Brianne Brissards (Aaron), Jake Ryser, Connor Smith, Aryn Smith and Ben Smith; her great great grandchildren, Jayden, Holland Jones, Trenton, Paisley Smith, Declan and Conrad Brissards; and her siblings, Marvin Rathert (Audrey) of Steeleville, IL, Orville Rathert (Marlene) of Steeleville, IL, Kenneth Rathert (Janell) of Kirkwood, MO, Robert Rathert (Cookie) of Coulterville, IL, Vernadean Blair of Percy, IL, Carolyn Lange (Lester) of Campbell Hill, IL and Sue Pierceall of Chester, IL..
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Wilson's Funeral Home (509 W Illinois St, Steeleville, IL 62288). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Denmark Baptist Church (2262 Pyatt-Cutler Rd, Cutler, IL 62238).
