It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Elvin Rakoczy of Peotone, Illinois, who passed away on May 4, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Ellen June Rakoczy; his sister Helen Gamble; his sister-in-law Gayla Hughes-Rakoczy; and his parents, Frank Draper-Rakoczy and Earlene Draper-Rakoczy.
He is survived by: his children, Ronnie Rakoczy (Sue) and Bonnie Martin (Ed); his stepsons, Stephen Bennett (Mildred) and Jeffrey Bennett; and his siblings, Michael, Melvin (Renee), Evelyn Long (Jack) and Frank.
