He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerard Murray and Merna Murray; his former wife Victoria Murray; and his sister Sue Cooper. He is survived by: his wife Laura; his children, Nicole Chen (Hue), Phillip Murray, Megan Murray, Francis Murray (Margaret) and Alanna Murray; his grandchildren, Daniel Francis Murray II, Annaliese Murray, Rose Murray and Gabriel Murray; his siblings-in-law, Cynthia Noreuil (late Larry), Dr. Lawrence Rossi Jr. (Kim), Dr Alfred Rossi (Peggie), Marietta Foellner (late Richard), Dr. Thomas Rossi (Jan), Lisa McLaughlin (Michael), Mark Rossi (Marla), Dr. Matthew Rossi (Tracey), Dr. Phillip Rossi (Dawn) and Annamaria Booth (Chad); his niece Michelle Rossi; and his nephew Johnny Rossi. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In Lieu of flowers donations in Dan's name may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Manhattan or to Hopedale Medical Complex, 107 Tremont St., Hopedale, IL 61747.
