He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Marsha Henning; his children, Eric Henning (Michelle) and Ryan Henning (James Wilson); his grandchildren, Andrew Henning, Henry Henning, Alexandra Branham, Jonathan Branham, Timothy Branham, Zachary Branham, Alexis Wilson and Brandon Wilson; and his parent Esther Henning.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Hines VA Fisher House or the Manteno Veterans Home appreciated.
