It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilma J. McMichael of Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on February 11, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cluster Lentz and Helen Lentz (Newton); her brothers, Lawrence Lentz, Louis Lentz and Wilbur Lentz; and her brother-in-law Ivan "Ike" Lasley.
She is survived by: her husband John McMichael; her children, Colleen Destree (Rick) of Blairsville, Georgia and Dennis McMichael (Tina) of New Tazwell, Tennessee; her sisters, Lavonne Ramp (Jan) of Henderson and Cheryl Lasley of Galesburg; and her grandchildren, Rick Destree (Kimberly), Josh Destree (Rachel), Kelsey Tippie (Henry), Jason McMichael (Summer), Jennifer Otey and Sarah Bohm (David).
